*Motorsports
Motorsports is part of the group of competitive events which involves the use of motorized vehicles, whether it be for racing or for recreational purposes. Some motorsports variations include auto car racing, motor rallying, motorcycle racing, air racing, kart racing, boat racing, hovercraft racing, lawn mower racing, snowmobile racing, and truck racing. Battling and Passing Etiquette *Do not be overly aggressive when trying to pass another driver. Races are 50% or longer and there WILL be DRS zones and multiple opportunities to pass. As the chasing car, it is generally your responsibility to not make contact with the car in front. *Do not force another car off the track by leaving too little room on corner entry or exit. If the other car is alongside you when going into a corner (at the turn-in point*), or when exiting a corner, you must adjust your line to avoid contact and to not force the other car off the track. Being sufficiently 'alongside' to warrant being left room is generally judged as the attacking car's nose being alongside or ahead of the defending car's sidepod. 토토사이트 *The 'turn-in point' in this setting refers the natural turn-in point as per the standard racing line. If the defending car causes contact due to turning in earlier then what is considered the standard, he will be seen at fault. *Moving in the braking zone should not be done when drivers are close to you especially directly behind, as this could easily cause an incident or dangerous situation. Choose a line before entering the braking zone, and hold that line until the turn-in point. If you come from a defensive position and want to move back towards the racing line, you must leave a least one car width between your car and the edge of the track, failure to do so will result in time penalties. *On straights, if another driver has any part of their car alongside your car, you must respect their position on the track and avoid making any movement into the other car, this is also known an ‘pinching’ and will be penalized with a time penalty post race if you force another driver off track or into any barriers. *Excessive weaving and blocking is not allowed. When defending, choose your line and do not deviate, there is at no time to be wild swings from one side of the track to the other. If this is seen and it causes an accident grid penalties will be applied post race for the next race. Track limits Stay within the track boundaries with at least two tyres on track at all times. The track boundaries are defined by the white lines, NOT by the edge of the curbs. The white lines are deemed part of the track, however the curbs are not. Cutting corners, or extending the track, to gain an advantage is not allowed. It is up to the stewards' discretion (based on the evidence provided) to determine whether a driver has abused the track limits to an extent where a penalty is justified. If you overtake another driver with all four wheels off track, or as a consequence of cutting a corner, you must reduce speed and give the position back, unless you are automatically awarded a penalty. If you are not awarded a penalty this is an incident that should be reported to stewards for review post race. Track Awareness It is important to have good awareness of where other cars are while you’re on track. It is most important to be aware of the cars around you during the following; race start, battling and pit-in and pit-out (being mindful of any cars close to you on entry and exit of pits). There is to be no racing on pit lane or entry and exit of pits of any kind. If you spin off the track while other cars are close behind, make sure to wait with rejoining the track until it is safe. PRO TIP: use the mini-map to ensure that no cars are close when you rejoin. Ghosting does not work properly and must not be expected to cover your entry back on track. “I thought I would ghost” is an unacceptable excuse for causing a collision reentering the track. If you spin and end up sideways or backwards on the track, stay still until any cars have gone past. When you're coming up to lap another car, it is required that you alert that driver through the voice chat so they are aware that you will soon be lapping them. All drivers will be required to be in the lobby chat and have their mics on Push To Talk. Push To Talk is not a request
